The creation of the new Arrabassada School in Terrassa starts from the analysis and interrelation between the location and the requirements of the Education Department, adapting them to a difficult topography and accessibility. The project proposes the following premises:

• The strategic choice of the representative level to locate the main volume of the building, with the intention of offering a wide visual field, a sunning to the dependencies of the school and free up the maximum the free space to incorporate the recreational areas.
• Accessibility from the Mercè Rodoreda Street bearing in mind that the streets will be newly created according to the General Plan.
• The accessibility to the same level of the INFANTIL area and its positioning in the lower part of the lot obtaining a direct access with the Mercè Rodoreda Street.
• Accessibility at the same level of the PRIMARY area by positioning at this level the common spaces and administrative control.

The ground floor facades are configured as modules with glazed ceramic finishes and local stone, and the vertical solar protections of the openings will be constructed with aluminum vertical orientable sliding panels.
Plane roofs with a stone-like finished and sloping, light-finished roofs are proposed in the skylights.
