Description

Interior renovation project of the basement level 2 area at the Vall d’Hebrón Road to locate the new external consultations of the Maternal – Child area. It proposes a new distribution that welcomes 39 external consultations, administration, personnel area, work rooms and seminars.

The distribution is configured with a main street / avenue that gives access to the waiting areas for the users as a comb, generating small areas to accessing the corresponding query. The 6 patios are used to illuminate the interior spaces. Associated to them and to another linear well parallel to the facade are arranged suitable waiting spaces for children’s play.

The project also consists on the urbanization of the entire front of the Vall d’Hebrón Road hospital complex. It is proposed to eliminate the existing sidewalk separation fence by widening it and generating a new wide walk. The placement of a large pergola protects the entrance and the new dependencies of the Mother-Child external consultations.
