Description

“NON-ACTION” PROPOSAL

Architectural traces, transparencies, lighting, circulations, the use of materials, etc. they are treated in such a way that the goal is to leave the building with the current image, like if it had not been acted upon.

The main feature of the hall is the users reception and the distribution to all the dependencies of the Club. The emblematic screw scale of the hall characterizes one of the iconic images of the Club’s interior.

Supporting the objective of achieving a scrupulously respectful intervention with the building of the architect Francesc Mitjants Miró and the historical use that has been given, it proposes to use the same materials that configure it, updating its features to both exterior carpentry (acoustic, thermal ) as the technical installations applying the new requirements of comfort, ventilation, performance, eco-efficiency, etc.
