Multi-family residential complex consisting of a new building on an empty plot on Riera de Cassoles Avenue and the renovation of an existing building on Bretón de los Herreros Strret, in Barcelona.

For the first building, we propose a volumetry that makes the most of the buildable depth of the avenue and the maximum height allowed in both alignments. The façade, a continuous stone plane with folds and setbacks that incorporate tribunes and terraces, becomes the protagonist of the project. A second skin made up of movable wooden elements for sun protection and privacy gives the facade a dynamic and changing character.

In the Bretón de los Herreros building, a comprehensive renovation of the existing offices is underway to convert them into residential units. This is a complex project at a structural level, involving reinforcing floor slabs, creating large openings to incorporate an elevator and an interior courtyard, and excavating a new basement. The main façade, which shares the same architectural style and materials as the adjacent building, features a stone plane from which the gallery with its movable openings and sunshades emerges.

The residential complex includes commercial premises on the ground floors, underground parking space and a communal swimming pool on the roof.
