Competition for the project and direction of a building for the Department of Public Security of Aude in France in the city of Carcassone.

The project is located at a crossroads of a suburban area of ​​single-family houses and in front of an equipment building, Music School, located at the other side of the street / roundabout. The curved volume aims to dialogue with this environment and facilitates the expansion of the sidewalks of the street, defining the urban implantation of the building.

The characteristics required for safety and at the same time easy accessibility for the public generate a double reading that makes it unique in both the facade image and the layout of the distribution floor plant. It develops around an inner courtyard away from the views from the city and that introduces the light to the more private rooms of the functional program.

In the rest of the plot two parking spaces are located, one triangular, as access zone for police vans and another of internal users with reserved area for possible extensions.
